Sebaceous cysts emerge due to blockage of sebaceous gland by a protein, named keratin. Sometimes, these sebaceous cysts smell pungent as they contain yellow clear oily liquid. They may occur in any part of our body, except soles of palm and feet. Sebaceous cysts may appear on head, back, breast, face, etc. They can be small or large in size.
